Every Friday my parents go to a fish fry at the local Knights of Columbus. The one thing I really miss about Wisconsin/Illinois is the great food. Honestly it is hard to find good food down here. The fish fry reminds me of Wisconsin so although Adam is allergic to fish I occasionally ditch him and pack up the kids and go with my parents. Last Friday I went along and on the table they had information about a spaghetti dinner in hopes to raise money for a family in need. Their daughter is in need of a heart transplant. She is 4 the same age as my Eve. All I could think about was what if that was Eve. I love her so much and can't fathom the strength this family will need in coming months and years.
Gabriella is the little girl and she is seriously adorable. Even though I have never met this family I want to get the word out to as many people as possible. If you feel compelled to help them financially there is a place on their blog page to make a donation. Please keep this family in your prayers.
