Sweetest Day!

So Adam and I were running errands today and my dad was with us. I reminded my dad it was sweetest day and he should get my mom flowers because it would mean a lot to her. We stopped at the flower shop while we were out and Adam and I stayed in the car. Adam turned to me and said, "Sorry honey I didn't know it was Sweetest Day. Do I need to go get you flowers or are we good?" This is what I love about this man. I totally didn't want anything I just wanted my dad to get on my mom's good side. I said we were cool and I didn't get you anything either. He said I only like to get you flowers when you aren't expecting them. That is when I like them best anyway. He knows me so well. I love surprises and romantic gestures that aren't expected. So yeah our sweetest day involved no gifts but I have thoroughly enjoyed the day with him.
