Disturbed

Today I had off of school so I took Eve to tap/ballet class. It is always fun to watch all of the barbie moms with their kids. Anyway I was eavesdropping on a conversation one mom was having with another mom. Apparently the little girl, we will call her Avery said,"I am the boss of the house." and the mom replied to Avery, "No, Daddy is the boss of the house." I was really shocked by this. If Eve had said that to me I would have replied, "No I am the boss of the house." or "No, Mommy and Daddy are the boss of the house." I would never say my husband was the boss. I think it is really sad that there are woman who don't set the example of being equal to their husband. In my humble opinion I think that saying your husband is the boss is saying that he is in charge of you. This really gets under my skin.
