Kids say the darnedest things

Adam and Eve are 2 rooms away from each other so imagine shouting from room to room.
Eve: Daddy.
Adam: This is daddy I can't come to the phone right now please leave a message after the beep.
Eve: Hi Daddy this is Eve in my bedroom could you please get me something to drink?

We were both rolling on the floor laughing.
